AHCJ creates introductory membership for non-health journalists

The Association of Health Care Journalists has announced a special, limited-time membership offer for non-health journalists suddenly thrust on the pandemic beat.

The six-month, half-priced membership will allow reporters, editors and news directors access to essential resources for covering the COVID-19 virus and understanding the medical science behind it.

“It also allows access to AHCJ’s popular listserve, where questions are answered in real time by other reporters and editors familiar with the beat,” said AHCJ Executive Director Len Bruzzese.

“The association’s extensive website is adding useful virus resources every day, including story ideas, trustworthy sources and timely reporter tip sheets.”

Questions regarding the membership offer can be directed to AHCJ Membership Coordinator Tina England at tina@healthjournalism.org.
