National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine

In support of the National Strategy for the COVID-19 Response and Pandemic Preparedness, CDC is holding a virtual National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine on Feb. 22-24. The forum is for practitioners focused on vaccine implementation and people and groups that can champion vaccine uptake in communities. Our Acting Assistant Secretary for Health, RADM Felicia Collins will provide opening remarks at 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Feb. 24. You can view recordings as well.

The COVID-19 Data Dispatch and the National Association of Science Writers is hosting a workshop series that will explore the major challenges facing journalists and communicators who use data to cover the COVID-19 pandemic. Dec. 14 deadline: AHCJ- National Cancer Reporting Fellowship

AHCJ will select journalists to spend three partial days online Jan. 12-14, 2021, with experts from the National Institutes of Health to increase their understanding of and ability to report accurately on complex scientific findings, provide insight into the work of cancer researchers and to better localize cancer-related stories.
