The world population is aging at an exponential rate; factors include the baby boomer generation growing older, the general population decreasing and the third world aging faster than before. It might seem like good news — a healthier human existence. But an older population poses potential threats to an already strained health care system. How might we care for a population whose life expectancy is higher than ever before?
