The federal Institute of Medicine is holding a workshop on monitoring (and understanding) the health effects of the Gulf oil spill.
According to the release, the mission of the workshop will be to "provide scientific and community feedback on the design and methodology to be used in the National Institutes of Health's Gulf Worker Study." A draft plan of the study can be found here.
