The National Center for Health Statistics is tentatively scheduled to release "Born a bit too early — Recent trends in late pre-term birth." According to the release, the report will "display trends in the number and rate of babies born one to three weeks short of 'term' from 1990 to 2006." It will also analyze contributing factors, both physiological/medical and demographic.
