Governor Knew Numbers Were Wrong But Used Them Anyway

Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who staunchly opposed the ACA in general and Medicaid expansion in particular, had been saying in interviews and op-eds that it would cost the state a staggering amount, $26 billion. That estimate was not only wrong; he knew it was, a string of e-mails showed. But he continued to use the inflated estimates for weeks after he was warned.
