AHCJ’s annual conference rescheduled for October

With safety as a top consideration, AHCJ has changed the dates for the world’s premier health journalism conference.

Health Journalism 2021 is scheduled for Oct. 28-31 in Austin, Texas. The downtown Hilton Austin will serve as the main conference site.

Health Journalism 2021Update: For those of you who were selected as fellows for Health Journalism 2020, we will honor those fellowships for Health Journalism 2021 and there is no need to re-apply.

We will be in touch with fellows as the conference date approaches.

Health Journalism 2021 in Austin, Texas, will be AHCJ’s first annual conference after the COVID-19 outbreak, but the need for stories covering all the angles of this pandemic will still be going strong. And even more stories – related and unrelated – are yet to be explored in the months ahead.
