AHCJ members Chris King and Sandra Jordan are among the staff of the St. Louis American, recently judged to be second in its class for Best Non-Daily Newspaper in North America by Suburban Newspapers of America.

King is the editorial director and Jordan is the health reporter for the newspaper, which is published by an individual owner and president, Donald M. Suggs.

This is the third time and the second consecutive year that the St. Louis American has been so honored. The paper will be profiled in an upcoming issue of Editor & Publisher magazine.
