We are all covering the pandemic, but what happens when journalists themselves get infected? Three journalists from around the world will share their perspectives on getting the disease and on how they recovered.

We’ll talk about the risks for journalists on the front lines, and the dangers for journalists who minimize those risks. Lola Gómez of the Austin American-Statesman in the United States, Howie Severino of the GMA Network in the Philippines and Pete Kiehart, a freelancer in France, will talk about how they think they contracted the virus, what the illness was like, and their advice for other journalists covering the pandemic.
