Johns Hopkins University holds its Seventh Annual Symposium on the Social Determinants of Health in Baltimore, Md. This year’s event, sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute focuses on “Voices of Social Change: Empowered Communities for Health and Social Justice” and looks at the movement’s last 50 years of empowering people’s voices and how that can improve people’s health and wellbeing.
