The National Academies of Sciences’ Health and Medicine Division hosts a one-day workshop examining how changes to tax policies could help improve population health.
Entitled “Exploring Tax Policy to Advance Population Health, Health Equity, and Economic Prosperity,” the event aims to “address the use of tax policies to channel resources and shape economic incentives affecting population health” and will include a ‘tax policy 101’ overview.
The event will be held at California Endowment Oakland Conference Center.
