The National Academies of Sciences’ Health and Medicine Division holds a roundtable discussion on “Immigration as a Social Determinant of Health,” a one-day workshop to discuss immigration “laws and policies and their implications on immigrant and population health.”
Speakers include representatives from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Arizona’s Pima County Health Department, the Immigration Policy Center, University of California, Los Angeles’ Center for Health Policy Research, and more.
The event, which will not be webcast, will be held at the Cal State East Bay Conference Center.
