The National Institute for Health Care Management will host a health policy briefing of health care experts who will discuss the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, the market forces driving change, and alternative ideas for the future of health care. The event will take place in the Gold Room of the Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill.
The speakers will be: Marilyn Tavenner, administrator of the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services; Uwe Reinhardt, the James Madison Professor of Political Economy, Princeton University; Avik Roy, senior fellow, Manhattan Institute for Policy Research; Joseph Swedish, president and CEO, WellPoint, Inc.; and J. Bradley Wilson, president and CEO, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.
