NPC Luncheon with CDC Director Thomas R. Frieden, M.D.

Thomas R. Frieden, M.D., director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will report on the state of our health security at a Tuesday, Sept. 10, National Press Club luncheonFrieden will identify eminent dangers to our health security – superbugs, disasters, and leading causes of death – and the assets the nation’s health protection agency can use to thwart them.

The luncheon will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. Remarks will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $21 for Club members and one guest. Tickets are $35 for non-members.

Club members who wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must RSVP separately to VIPreception@press.org 48 hours before the event. Space may be limited. You must have a paid reservation to the luncheon to attend the VIP reception.
