Oliver C. Schroeder, Jr. Scholar-in-Residence Lecture presented by the Law-Medicine Center

The FDA faces substantial challenges as it seeks to satisfy the expectation of the public for safe food and safe and effective medical products. These challenges include the wide array and virtually infinite number of products for which FDA has regulatory responsibility and the finite resources available to monitor them. The agency’s former chief counsel will discuss regulatory problem solving, focusing on the “why” and “how” of product regulation.

Free and open to the public. Reception follows. The event will be webcast.
Location: Moot Courtroom (A59), Case Western Reserve University
