The National Center for Health Statistics is tentatively scheduled to release a report on trends and characteristics of home and other out-of-hospital births. According to the release, the report will examine "trends and characteristics of out-of-hospital and home births in the United States by selected demographic variables including race, ethnicity, and county population, as well as by birth outcomes."
