This online course is for journalists who are new to data journalism. In four, 1.5–hour workshops, participants will learn what data is available, how to find it, retrieve it, and find facts and patterns in it that will lead to stories. These are hands-on, screen–sharing workshops with regular Q&As, and participants are expected to contribute. Available to journalists worldwide, although journalists in the U.S. will have to get up early. The sessions are not recorded.
