The University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Center for Women’s health Research hosts a National Conference on Women’s Health Research.
This year’s event centers on “Sex Differences Across the Lifespan: A Focus on Metabolism,” including differences between men and women in diabetes and heart disease. Other sessions will also look at gender and obesity, exercise and pregnancy-related determinants of chronic disease.
The event will be held in Colorado Springs, Colo., and AstraZeneca and the Society for Women’s Health Research are among the sponsors.
