Researchers will weigh the role of food literacy and marketing on consumers’ behavior when it comes to eating and nutrition at this two-day Institute of Medicine workshop in Washington, D.C., titled “How Do Communications and Marketing Impact Consumer Knowledge and Behavior?”  The workshop will look at the impact of such communications on food choices as well as the role of science-based messaging.
