The Department of Health and Human Services & the National Institute on Aging sponsor the two-day summit on preventing and treating Alzheimer’s disease. The summit will be held in Bethesda, MD on May 14-15. The meeting will feature six main sessions, 1) Interdisciplinary Approach to Discovering and Validating the Next Generation of Therapeutic Targets for Alzheimer’s Disease, 2) Challenges in Preclinical Therapy Development, 3) Who to Treat, When to Treat, and What Outcomes to Measure, 4) Drug Repurposing and Combinatorial Therapy, 5) Non-Pharmacological Interventions, and 6) New Models of Public Private Partnerships.
