FDA Science Board to review veterinary research, check on IT, and hear Salmonella detection updates

The FDA's Science Board will review of each Center's projects within scientific priority areas, review research at the Center for Veterinary Medicine, and review the FDA's scientific information technology infrastructure modernization initiatives.

According to the release, the Science Board will also hear updates on rapid detection of Salmonella in foods and the handling of biospecimens used for genomic and proteomic analyses.
