Our Imperfect Craft: A Workshop for Writers Working as Journalists
20 writers, 10 coaches, one weekend that honors the word

open to the public, good will donations gratefully accepted

The Workshop is tuition-free and is funded entirely by a major gift from James H. Ottaway Jr. and by readers, colleagues and community members who benefited from the work of the late journalist Mike Levine.

The Workshop is open to journalists who've been working for at least three years and for no more than eight.

For the 2009 session, 20 journalists will be chosen by a panel of professionals, they will work with an assigned coach and with their peers on a project of their choosing.
