AHCJ – and its Center for Excellence in Health Care Journalism – held its first Urban Health Journalism Workshop this fall in New York City.

Sessions explored the health issues of children, seniors and immigrants in urban settings, as well as obesity, mental health, disaster preparedness and the mapping of local health data. Come get the tools to better investigate, understand and relate the health of your city.
