Because it was the subject of heated and often negative debate for years, when the Affordable Care Act became law, many Americans were unsure how their lives would be impacted. PBS NEWSHOUR reached out to average Americans to let them tell their stories in their own words about how ACA impacted their lives – for good and for bad – so others could get a better sense of the real world effect.
