Understanding Obamacare: POLITICO’s Guide to the Affordable Care Act

This was a guide to the Affordable Care Act, written for a broad readership but full of reader-friendly explanations of the policies and the politics. It was timed for the start of open enrollment on Oct. 1, when we figured many readers would be tuning in for the first time. It was partly an explainer, and partly a collection of fact checks. We also turned two chapters into new stories that led the website: one on how the law affects businesses, and one on how many doctors haven’t figured out how the law will affect them.
