I wanted to step back from the Health Policy arguments and comment on just what, exactly, was really happening — or in this case, not happening, as well.

I used public documents and past reporting.

I used no human sources for this column.
Results:
The debate continues. On a personal note, I was told that hard-liners at my own organization were less than pleased with how I placed certain GOP statements in accurate context.
Follow-up (if any). Have you run a correction or clarification on the report or has anyone come forward to challenge its accuracy? If so, please explain.
My facts were not challenged.

Never stop asking “But last year/month/week you said…” Hold people at all levels accountable for their own statements.
