Global Health Connections received a grant to travel to southern Africa to do stories on ‘how North Carolinians are affecting global health’. The reporter focused on South Central Africa, looking at some individuals from Raleigh, and two organizations based in NC (one an NGO, one a University-based program). In the interest of disclosure, the grant came from the University, but they in no way participated in story selection.
