Story Description: While heated debate about health care reform in the United States played out, The PBS NewsHour’s global health unit profiled the healthcare system in The Netherlands, a health care model which uses many of the reforms health experts and policy makers in the United States were considering. The two part series first laid out recent reforms undertaken in Holland, then looked at innovative ways that country has adopted to keep down costs.
