Kaiser Health News, a journalist-run nonprofit news service focusing on health policy. KHN content can be used in print or online for free. Site includes a daily aggregation of news stories from around the country. You can use the search engine to look for stories written by KHN and other media outlets.
Congressional Budget Office health page
Alliance for Health Policy, which includes a sourcebook for journalists with names and phone numbers for sources on a wide variety of health care related topics.
Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, an independent Congressional agency that examines Medicare spending.
