Seeking savvy journalist to help create and execute a media strategy for lipedema which impact 1 in 50 women. Insurers now widely cover the disease and the major ones were sued for not doing so. However, access to care is worse than mental health and insurers “cover” but refuse to pay surgeons fairly to discourage women and surgeons as they are afraid of how many women have this disease. We need help getting the word out there.
