Doximity is seeking a skilled and dynamic freelance video editor to join our team in capturing and delivering compelling conference content for our physician audience. This role focuses on creating timely, engaging video content that highlights key medical insights, conference experiences, and emerging healthcare topics from major medical conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit conference videos–from preproduction to postproduction–with rapid turnaround times to ensure timely delivery of critical medical information
- Work with conference attendees to capture their insights on hot medical topics and conference highlights
- Create content specifically tailored for practicing physicians
- Help us showcase emerging healthcare trends and breaking developments from major medical conferences
Distribution and Reach
Our video content reaches healthcare professionals through multiple channels, including partnerships with leading medical platforms. Notably, we work with Doximity, the largest professional medical network in the United States, which connects over 80% of U.S. physicians and provides them with secure communication tools, medical news, and continuing education resources. This partnership ensures our conference videos reach a substantial audience of engaged medical professionals.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong storytelling skills with experience in crafting stories from shot footage
- Strong video editing skills with a portfolio showing quick turnaround work
- Proficiency in video software
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines in conference environments
- Bonus points for healthcare/medical content experience
- Ability to travel to select medical conferences
