A risk calculator to help clinicians decide the risks that a vaginal birth after a Cesarean section (VBAC) poses to a birthing parent. An older version of the calculator included a variable that placed Black and Hispanic women at higher risk of complications – and thus made them less likely to undergo a VBAC. The calculator was updated to remove race in 2021.
