AHCJ-Connecticut Health Journalism Fellowship

AHCJ, with the support of the Connecticut Health Foundation, provides financial assistance to journalists who wish to attend AHCJ’s annual conference. Fellowships are open to full-time Connecticut print, broadcast and online journalists and part-timers or freelancers who derive the majority of their income from journalism. Fellows will be asked to focus on health equity in their programming choices.
Fellowship includes:
- Conference registration
- One year’s membership in AHCJ (new or extended)
- Up to four nights hotel (Tuesday to Friday nights, leaving Saturday)
- Travel assistance within the continental U.S.
- We budget approximately $500 for an economy flight and ground transportation. If selected as a fellow and $500 is not sufficient to travel to Minneapolis, please contact Susan Cunningham, AHCJ’s event manager, at susan@healthjournalism.org prior to booking.
