World Immunization Week aims to promote one of the world’s most powerful tools for health – the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease. This year’s World Immunization Week campaign seeks to reach equity in immunization levels as outlined by the Global Vaccine Action Plan (GVAP). The theme for 2015 is “Close the Immunization Gap.”
