U.S. Senate hearing on water infrastructure

The U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee holds a hearing to examine the federal role in water and wastewater infrastructure.

Witnesses include Erik Olson, director of the Natural Resources Defense Council’s health program, as well as representatives of the U.S. Conference of Mayors and several water associations: National Association of Water Companies, American Water Works Association, National Rural Water Association, Water Environment Federation.

The hearing, “The Federal Role in Keeping Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Affordable,” is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. ET, in Room 406 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
