U.S. Census to Release Data on Poverty, the Uninsured

On Sept. 16, the U.S. Census Bureau will release its annual statistics on poverty, health insurance and income. The major report, called the Current Population Survey’s Annual Social and Economic Supplement, will include the nation’s overall poverty rate for 2014 as well as how many people lack health insurance, and compares the rate to previous years. It will also include some data on health insurance coverage across the U.S. states.
