The Policy Studies Organization at George Mason University sponsors the second annual Summit on Global Food Security and Health

Academic experts will discuss all aspects of global food security, from access to water and rural development to social safety nets and nutrition. Researchers from universities in the U.S. and abroad will share their research on food security with an eye to improving access, addressing challenges and developing partnerships to improve global food security and related health outcomes.

The call for papers is now open. Abstracts (250 words) of proposed papers, including potential health and policy implications, should be submitted to Bonnie Stabile, Deputy Editor at bstabile@gmu.edu by July 1, 2015. Authors of selected papers will be notified by July 10, 2015, and completed manuscripts should be submitted to World Medical & Health Policy manuscript submission site by September 15, 2015 for peer review.
