The IOM will hold a workshop to explore the benefits of and barriers to sex-specific reporting of scientific data. Sex-specific reports divide data according to sex rather than grouping together male and female data. Speakers at the meeting will address the necessity of sex-specific reporting, potential barriers to sex-specific reporting, and steps to encourage its reporting, among other issues.
