The National LGBT Health Education Center holds a webinar at 2 p.m. ET on “Providing an Inclusive and Affirmative Health Care Environment for LGBT People” with Dr. Harvey Makadon, a professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and director of the center, which is part of Boston-based Fenway Health practice. He will lead participants through 10 key practices for creating LGBT-inclusive and affirming in health care organizations. Participants will learn approaches ranging from shaping policies and processes, to collecting data, to engaging the community.
