Thomas R. Frieden, M.D., director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will report on the state of our health security at a Tuesday, Sept. 10, National Press Club luncheon. Frieden will identify eminent dangers to our health security – superbugs, disasters, and leading causes of death – and the assets the nation’s health protection agency can use to thwart them.
The luncheon will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. Remarks will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $21 for Club members and one guest. Tickets are $35 for non-members.
Tickets must be purchased at time of reservation. For questions regarding reservations, please email reservations@press.org or call (202)662-7501.
