From video doctor visits to text reminders about medications to 24/7 access to healthcare advice, the stories about digital technology and healthcare are in the news daily. But just because we can build it, does that mean patients will use it?
What do Americans really think about the use of technology for accessing and managing their healthcare? Do they actually want and use the new tools? These questions were explored in a new survey, the results of which will be announced November 4th. The findings and recommendations of this survey show the progression of the adoption curve for these digital tools, the specific interests and needs of defined groups including parents and those with chronic illnesses, and the power that digital healthcare technology has to transform lives.
Experts from Harris Interactive’s Strategic Health Perspectives (a Nielsen Company), The Council of Accountable Physician Practices (CAPP), and Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) will present the results at the press conference and be available for Q & A.
