The National Academies of Sciences’ Forum on Neuroscience and Nervous System Disorders holds a public workshop aimed at examining the barriers and opportunities in developing therapeutic treatment for opioid misuse. The meeting, “Advancing Therapeutic Development for Pain and Opioid Use Disorders through Public-Private Partnerships: A Workshop” follows three scheduled National Institutes of Health meetings on the issue.
