The National Academies of Sciences holds a day-long workshop sponsored by AARP entitled “Aging and Disability: Beyond Stereotypes to Inclusion.” The event is open to the public and aims to look at “how stereotypes and stereotype threat affect older adults and adults with disabilities.” It will be held at the Parsons School of Design in New York City.
