Chicago area-based health provider Howard Brown Health holds a two-day conference in Chicago on a range of LGBTQ health issues. The event, entitled “Midwest LGBTQ Health Symposium: Moving Towards Health Equity. Strengthening our Community of Care,” includes sessions on community care and stigma, care for older adults, transition-related care, and HIV. Speakers include Jessica Halem, the inaugural LGBT program director at Harvard Medical School and Dustin Duncan, an associate professor at New York University School of Medicine’s Department of Population Health and director of NYU’s Spatial Epidemiology Lab.
