The University of the Incarnate Word's Center for Medical Tourism Research presents a medical tourism research conference titled "Paradigm shifts and disruption — the impact of globalized health care." The conference will address drivers of medical tourism, evaluations of medical tourism practices and the legal and ethical issues of medical tourism.
