“In My Mind: A LGBT People of Color Mental Health Conference” is a two-day conference aimed at addressing the mental health needs of people of color in the LGBT community.
The New York City-based event will bring together patients, clinicians, students and academics to address mental health issues for this subpopulation, including the effects of shame and stigma. The conference will conclude with a “Community Speak Out” for participants.
The event is organized by Depressed Black Gay Men (DBGM), a New York-based nonprofit.
