The CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics will release a new report on perinatal mortality in the United States. Perinatal mortality (late fetal death at 28 weeks or more and early neonatal death under age 7 days) can be an indicator of the quality of health care before, during and after delivery, the CDC says.
The report, “Lack of Change in Perinatal Mortality in the United States, 2014 through 2016,” is under embargo until Aug. 8 at 12:01 am ET, but is available to journalists who sign up here before the embargo lifts
