The Institute of Medicine holds a 3-day workshop in Washington on “Investing in Young Children for Peaceful Societies: Individual and Structural Transformation.”
Part of the IOM’s Forum on Investing in Young Children Globally (iYCG), the open meeting will feature experts in early childhood development and peacebuilding and will look at a wide range of issues that affect children’s growth, including the impact of conflict on health, safety, education, and nutrition particularly in early childhood.
