The Institutes of Medicine holds a one-day workshop in Washington D.C. to examine how to best communicate evidence on health equity. The workshop, “Exploring Effective Communication of the Evidence to Improve and Expand Health Equity,” will look at ways to bring the public and policy makers information from robust areas of research that have found ways to boost public health, especially among vulnerable populations.
