The theme of this year's conference, put on by the Global Health Council, is "Community Health: Delivering, Engaging, Serving, Leading." Experts in the development of new products and medicines, as well as implementers and leaders from communities themselves, will present best practices, examine challenges and opportunities, and discuss the policy hurdles to ensuring that community health is supported.
Panels and plenary sessions will discuss best practices, innovations and policy issues surrounding HIV/AIDS, malaria, maternal and child health, tuberculosis and health systems strengthening, among other topics.
